When attempting to synchronize calendar entries between the computer and the BlackBerry® smartphone, the following error message appears on the BlackBerry® Desktop Manager:

Error 0x8004fd28
it may caused by the Intellisync® folder is corrupted.

To reset the configuration of the synchronization, complete the following steps:

  1. Open the BlackBerry Desktop Manager.
  2. Click Synchronize.
  3. Click the Configuration tab. (For BlackBerry Desktop Manager version 4.5 to 5.0.1, click the Synchronization option under the Configure heading).
  4. Click Reset Configuration.
  5. Click Yes.
